Sololá - From Panajachel

It's the capital city of the department of the same name. This city is well known for its market held on Tuesdays and Fridays, which is one of Central America's finest, a grand display of color and commerce.
 

The traditional costume is pretty unusual, the women covered in striped red cloth and the men in their outlandish shirts, woolen aprons and wildly embroidered trousers.
